Social Responsibility:NPA meets with Isaka Community, donates sea-going life-vests.

Isaka community play host to Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) led by a delegation to meet with the  Isaka Boat Union, as one of its host communities in Rivers State. During the visit, the company met with the Boat Drivers Union Chairman, community heads, Chiefs, former Leader of Okrika Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Edward Opuene Walter, amongst other community leaders and youths.
The Chairman of Isaka Boat Drivers Union expressed displeasure over the constant neglect of Isaka community in matters that affects livelihood on the sea from NPA. In his words, "Despite your neglect and failure to carry out your social responsibilities, the community have managed and conducted our activities effectively as not to cause frictions between our community and the company." He stated. We are a distinct and well respected community leaders, we will wish for a cordial and responsive relationship between the community and your company. 
The Chairman, Isaka Boat Drivers Union on behal of the community thanked the Nigerian Ports Authority for their donation of life vests. He also sought collaborations to ensure the waterways are protected and safe for business to thrive in the area. Nothing that, Isaka and it's sea route is safe, peaceful, and secure.

Government, Traditional Rulers agree to abolish indecent dressing in Okrika.

Sole Administrator, Okrika Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers, agree to uphold the abolishing of indecent dressing within the ambit of the law in Okrika and environs. In a meeting conveyed by the Sole Administrator of Okrika Local Government Council, Isodiki Thompson, KSC, on the 14th of August, 2025, in the Council secretariat, the government and all four Traditional Rulers that formed the Okrika Supreme Council of Traditional Rulers has agreed to abolish indecent dressing in Okrika and environs, Ofiomina Watch news has learnt. Missing Worianime at Alet, Eleme Local Government Area: Rivers State Police Command apprehend suspects, discovered decomposed body.

Murder Suspects Arrested, Remains of Deceased Victim Recovered. The Rivers State Police Command has made significant progress in the investigation into the disappearance of Sampson Worianime, who was reported missing on November 11, 2025, after accompanying his Community Youth from Ogbogbo Community in Okrika  to measure land at their old settlement. Following a distressing petition by the victim's mother, the Anti-Kidnapping Unit (AKU) launched an investigation, leveraging intelligence led Policing, leading to the arrest of two suspects, including one Igwe Alex ‘m’ 26yrs old the CSO of Aleto-Eleme Community and John Mikel ‘m’ 24 yrs old all of Aleto Eleme.
