Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration:Sir. Achese Igwe call for unity to enhance development.

Brief address to the Church on the event of Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration.
Dear brethren in the Lord, I bring you greetings from all of us leading the affairs of our dear Okrika Nation at this time by the special grace of God.

Dear people of God, we take so much to heart the prayers of the Church that is sustaining the nation. If not for your prayers answered by God Almighty, what would have been to this nation would have been untold. We thank you, our brethren in God.
As a government in power, we have come to celebrate with our living heroes, while we also celebrate our heroes past for their sacrifices that have kept us united as a nation. These heroes sacrificed their all to ensure a Nigeria we have today. Here in Okrika, the story is not different, as our fathers put in their all to fight for the unity, sovereignty, and protection of our territorial intervrity. We thank you, our beloved heroes.
Dear brethren, in no time, our communities, Okujagu Ama, and Ojimba Ama will have electricity after more than 30 years of existing without light. Our health facilities are having touches to ensure our free medical care service for the elderly, pregnant women, and children are effectively carried out. We will flag off a 1 kilometre road, spanning from Anyungu Biri, through Gream Ama to Ogoloma Town in the coming few days.
We are also set to empower our market women in days to come to allow for food sufficiency in Okrika. 1000 market women across the local government will be empowered to address poverty issues amongst business owners in the LGA.
On security, we have had tremendous progress as we are working with the security agencies and the CDCs to ensure our communities are rid of criminal elements. It is incumbent on us as a people to check who are tenants, our neighbours and check the activities of our children around us to check insecurity around us.
While we expect the NDDC to mobilise to site on the long awaited bridge linking Okrika to Borikiri, PortHarcourt, we are carrying out fisibility studies on the road to link Okrika from the Okujagu axis. We believe God helping us Okrika will get to our desired destination.
We are hoping for your prayers, collaboration, and partnership to make the difference we so desired for our common heritage, Okrika.
Thank you, and God bless Okrika Nation.
