It was a heart to heart discussion as the National Executive Council, Trustees, and Directorates payed a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman, Okrika Local Government Council. 
In his remarks, the Deputy President, Okrika Local Government Area of Wakirike National Congress, Dr. Emannuel Kal-Dick Jamabo extoled the sterling plans of the chairman fie the development of Okrika. Dr. Jamabo informed the Chairmen of the activities of WNC, formation and the developmental strides of WNC to Okrika. Adding that the collaboration of the council with WNC will foster both infrastructural and human Capacity Developments in Okrika Nation. 
A model report of findings at the Ofiomina-Ama (Alakiri) gas explosion fire was presented to the council boss for study and action to stop the fire and rehabilitate inhabitants in the area.
In his reaponse, the Chairman, Okrika Local Government Council, Sir. Achese Igwe thanked WNC for their efforts in driving development in Okrika Nation to bear. He stressed the need for untiy as a driving force to enhance the desired development from all levels of government. Dr. Achese decried the level of infrastructural decay in Okrika largely due to our inability to stand by each other and fashion out means for development to thrive. The council boss promised to interface with all professional bodies, the traditional council, Chiefs, the organised private sector, Okrikans in diaspora and all walks of life to prepare a blueprint of development for Okrika.
Sir. Igwe maintained that only peace and unity of Okrikans can bring about the desired development in Okrika. Thus, call on all hands to be on deck.

APPEAL COURT IN PORT HARCOURT ORDERS HON. MARTINS AMAEWHULE AND 24 OTHERS TO APPEAR. The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has granted an exparte order of subsistence service on Hon.Martins Amaewhule and 24 purported members occupying the Rivers State House of Assembly. A three man panel of judges led by Hon. Justice Oluayemisi Williams -Dawodu today agreed that Hon. Amaewhule and 24 others be served through subsistence means or WhatsApp.  This was sequel to an application by the counsel to the applicants  Elder Wilcox Abereton SAN who informed the court that it has been difficult and life threatening to serve Hon. Amaewhule and the Rivers State House of Assembly as a result of tight security details around them occasion by the political tension in Rivers State.
