MEETING WITH SUPREME COUNCIL OF OKRIKA TRADITIONAL RULERS HELD IN THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN.

The Okrika Local Government Council, led by the Executive Chairman, Sir. Achese Igwe held a strategic meeting with the traditional rulers of Okrika Nation to deliberate on key issues affecting the region.
While addressing the reverred monarchs, the Chairman emphasized the need for all arms of Okrika Nation to live in harmony and speak with one voice in collaboration with the government to attract the needed development in Okrika. The council boss said the
traditional rulers have a major role in the unity of Okrika. Stressing that no foreigner can give to Okrika, what Okrikans will give themselves. Adding that the strength in unity can not be overemphasized. The chairman, therefore, called on the Supreme Council of traditional rulers to live up to their expectations to bring development to bear.
The meeting also unanimously agreed for the council and the traditional rulers to work in partnership to advance the peace, security, and mutual development of Okrika Nation.
The Kings pledged their support and collaboration with the Council to ensure unity, peace, and sustainable development across Wakirike communities.
Top on the agenda was security and peace as the Council and the traditional rulers emphasized the importance of collective efforts to address the challenges and foster harmony in Okrika Nation.
This partnership marks a significant step toward a stronger and more prosperous Okrika Nation, with the Council and traditional institutions aligning their efforts to achieve shared goals. The Kings unanimously agreed to work with the Council to ensure the partnership with government at all levels to bring impactful development to Okrika.
The Supreme Council of Okrika Traditional Rulers praised the chairman for his planned developmental strides in Okrika. They urged the chairman to uphold the tempo, adding that Sir. Achese Igwe is a round peg in a round hole.
