Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem Launching:Executive Chairman, Okrika Local Government Council charged Legioners to keep faith alive.

The Executive Chairman, Okrika Local Government Council, Sir. Achese Igwe today joined the Governor, State Executive Council, Legislators, colleague Council Chairmen in the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, emblem launching at Government House, PortHarcourt. 
The Chairman while commemorating the day, said our heros past laid their lives for safety and security of citizens. The council boss stressed the need for families of the armed men to be
 well taken care of and their days always remembered so that the gallant moments the past  heros lived forever in the hearts of citizens. 
Sir. Achese Igwe encouraged the living legioners to keep hope alive and be steadfast in their believe of the government of the day, adding that their services kept the country united till date, and will also continue.

APPEAL COURT IN PORT HARCOURT ORDERS HON. MARTINS AMAEWHULE AND 24 OTHERS TO APPEAR. The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has granted an exparte order of subsistence service on Hon.Martins Amaewhule and 24 purported members occupying the Rivers State House of Assembly. MEETING WITH SUPREME COUNCIL OF OKRIKA TRADITIONAL RULERS HELD IN THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN.  ..... Sir. Achese Igwe task traditional rulers on unity to attract needed development. The Okrika Local Government Council, led by the Executive Chairman, Sir. Achese Igwe held a strategic meeting with the traditional rulers of Okrika Nation to deliberate on key issues affecting the region.   While addressing the reverred monarchs, the Chairman emphasized the need for all arms of Okrika Nation to live in harmony and speak with one voice in collaboration with the government to attract the needed development in Okrika.
