ONE LEGISLATIVE YEAR:APPRECIATION TO OKRIKA/OGU-BOLO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to God Almighty for His continued provision, protection, and grace that allow me to celebrate another year of life. May His name be glorified.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the constituents of Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency, the people of Rivers State, my colleagues in the Green Chambers, and the esteemed local government chairmen of Okrika and Ogu-Bolo for their warm wishes conveyed through various means. Your support fills me with immense joy and gratitude. Thank you all sincerely.

As I mark my first year as a legislator, I wish to particularly thank my constituents for their unwavering support, prayers, and invaluable suggestions on how we can collectively advance and
develop our beloved constituency. Our legislative duties are geared towards the betterment of our nation, and we take on oversight functions to support the executive arm, agencies, and parastatals in project execution. We have consciously focused on areas that directly impact our people.

As we continue our journey to improve our society, it is crucial that we collaborate and believe in our shared vision for meaningful and impactful development. I would like to extend special recognition and thanks to the local government chairmen of Okrika and Ogu-Bolo for their efforts in driving development in our areas. I had the privilege of commissioning a significant project by Hon. Akuro Tobin, and during our visits, we observed well-planned and necessary projects in both local government areas. I am confident that the future holds even greater accomplishments.

The Okrika Nation has experienced both challenges and benevolence within our dear Rivers State. It is time to refocus our efforts towards an egalitarian Okrika Nation, united by purpose and guided by truth, fairness, equity, and friendship. Achieving this vision requires our unity and collective mandate. We must be deliberate in our
aspirations, rooted not in mundane pursuits but in genuine Pan-Okrikanism. Every good and perfect gift comes from God. Our forefathers laid a strong foundation for us; it is our duty to build upon and fortify it. With faith in God, I firmly believe that Okrika will rise to greatness once again.

Thank you, and God bless the Okrika Constituency.

Rt. Hon. Dr. Allison Anderson Igbiks
Member, Representing Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly
