Celebrating a man with rare courage.

There came a time when a man assumed office and rallied all LGAs to know and understand the felt needs of the people with a view to providing same. This he carried out with a team of knowledgeable sons and daughters of Rivers State without bias.

Rivers State under the administration was adjudged World Book Centre, best agricultural productive State in Africa, Cultural hub of Nigeria, and many more. Rivers State was birthed into the construction of Model Secondary Schools in all Senatorial Districts, Model Primary Schools in all
 communities of Rivers State,
 Model Primary Health Cemtres in all communities of Rivers State. Others are Model libraries, fish farms, world-class international stadium named to an Okrika man, the Adokiye Amiesimaka
 Internation Stdium. The organising and holding of Rivers State Cultural Carnival, "CARNIRIV,"  the Bolo Bridge, Okrika Ring Road with 3 bridges, dredging of Oba Ama, furnishing of the Okrika Unity Centre, construction of Okrika Skills Acquisition Centre at Ogoloma. The administration, with the highest Okrikans appointed into positions of trust, etc.

Today, we join in the celebration of a man with Rivers growth dimension. HE. Rt. Hon. Barr. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, CON. Former Governor of Rivers State and former Nigeria's Minister of Transportation. Happy 59th Birthday, Sir.
