Dr. Allison calls for Financial probity in service.

For any system to work effectively, Agencies, Authorities and Parastatals of Government should thrive to be fair in their financial dealings.

The Member Representing Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Allison Anderson Igbiks has advised Agencies, Authorities and Parastatals of Government to be fair in their financial dealings and services. Dr. Allison made the call while the House of Representatives ad-hoc Committee investigating the finances of Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority's activities from 2013 to 2023.

The investigation of the Nigeria's Sovereign Investment Authority is in a bid to sanitise the system and ensure the authority work effectively in the Investment drive of Nigeria.

In another development, Dr. Allison has called on Youths of Okrika to tread with caution and avoid act capable of causing avoidable crisis in the area. Dr. Allison while reacting to a recent event of Masquerade display that claimed the life of a youth and left others seriously injured warned against such barbaric actions in the guise of playing Masquerades.

The Honourable Member of the Green Chambers said, Okrika Nation is blessed with a very rich culture and Traditional activities that has made the people stand out in Tourism activities in Rivers State and Nigeria at large, therefore will not be nice to place a bad precedence with a good omen. 

He thanked the Council Chairman of Okrika Local Government Council, Hon. Akuro Tobin for his swift action in arresting the situation in George Ama. Dr. Allison warned that such situation will no longer be tolerated as he will join forces with all authorities to ensure such ugly situations doesn't occur again.
