The Member Representing Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, Dr. Allison Anderson has described the Rivers State Ring
 Road as a good gesture for Rivers people. Speaking to newsmen shortly after the ground breaking ceremony in PortHarcourt, Dr. Allison said, "a ring road in Rivers State that will connect several Local Government Areas is a nice venture of Government that will attract development when completed, we will be part of such developmental strides."

The youngest representative from Rivers extraction called on the Government to actualize this dream and connect all Local Government Areas earmarked in the project, adding that the project as conceived is a felt need of Rivers State if we must decentralise and decongest the Capital City.

Dr. Allison Anderson who serves as a member of the 9th National Assembly Standing House Committee on Security called on Rivers people to protect Government facilities while the projet lasts.
