Recognize the King of Abuloma and admit same into PortHarcourt Council of Traditional Rulers. Court Orders Rivers State Government.

The High Court in Rivers presided by Hon Justice Gbasam delivered
 Judgement in Suit Number PHC/1365/CS 2022 today 30th June 2023 in favour of the Amayanabo and people of Abuloma recognizing the Stool as part of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, ordered the Commisioner for Chieftaincy Affair to recommend the Amayanabo of Abuloma to the Governor for recognitions forthwith and mandated the Governor to recognize the Amayanabo and upon recognition the Amayanabo be Admitted in the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area Traditional Council. 
Counsel to the Amayanabo and people of Abuloma Barr. TONYE D WILSON  described the Judgement as landmark and advised the Rivers State Government to comply with the Judgement of the Court.

APPEAL COURT IN PORT HARCOURT ORDERS HON. MARTINS AMAEWHULE AND 24 OTHERS TO APPEAR. The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has granted an exparte order of subsistence service on Hon.Martins Amaewhule and 24 purported members occupying the Rivers State House of Assembly. A three man panel of judges led by Hon. Justice Oluayemisi Williams -Dawodu today agreed that Hon. Amaewhule and 24 others be served through subsistence means or WhatsApp.  This was sequel to an application by the counsel to the applicants  Elder Wilcox Abereton SAN who informed the court that it has been difficult and life threatening to serve Hon. Amaewhule and the Rivers State House of Assembly as a result of tight security details around them occasion by the political tension in Rivers State.
