REACHING THE ELDERLY:PERPETUAL HELP INITIATIVE HELD CHRISTMAS BATCH WITH THE ELDERLY AND CHILDREN IN OKRIKA.
In a bid to reach to the Elderly and children in society, a Non Governmental Organisation known as PERPETUAL HELP INITIATIVE, founded by Ms. Charity Kalio, a prominent business woman has reached out to a number of Elders in Okrika.

Speaking to the Elders, the initiator, Ms. Charity said she put up the foundation to reach out the elderly and venerable children in society, with a view of helping them in her little way. She narrated that the initiative was officially launched on the 26th of September, which eventually was her Golden Jubilee 50th birthday, haven gone through rigorous process in life, she said she understands the sufferings of the elderly and venerable children in society, hence the initiative was put in place.

The Chairman of Awolome Biri CDC, used the occasion to thank the initiator of the programme and enjoined her to uphold the tempo.

Also speaking, a beneficiary, Elder Adokiaye thanked the organisers for coming to the aide of the Elders, and prayed God to resuscitate her purse.

High point of the event was the distribution of food items, clothes and other packages to the Elders and Children with Christmas dance and funfairs by the Children.
