2022 JESUS CARNIVAL:WAKIRIKE NATION CELEBRATES IN GRAND STYLE.

A PROCESSION, DANCE GALORE AND SHOW OF THE RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF WAKIRIKE, AS DIOCESE OF OKRIKA CELEBRATES 2022 JESUS CARNIVAL IN GRAND STYLE.
Jesus Carnival is a medium to celebrate Christ through the uniqueness of Wakirike rich Cultural Heritage. 
From the procession to grand finale, the banner of Jesus was flagged high in the land with Joy and Pageantry 
His Lordship, the Chief Priest of Wakirike, Rt. Rev'd. Enoch Atuboyedia, while declaring the carnival open, spoke about the Theme, "THE GLORY OF GOD UPON WARIKIKE LAND" Habakkuk 2:14. In his words, "As God's
 representatives here on earth, we have symbolically moved round Okrika, the  Traditional Head Quarters of Wakirike Land. It is our believe that, God moved with us and has released His favour, Glory and heavy weight upon the land, for that reason evil will no longer reign."
The Bishop welcomed all to the 2022 Edition of Wakirike Jesus Carnival. He implored attendees to celebrate Christ with dance, Praise and Worship, as people of Wakirike Nationality .

APPEAL COURT IN PORT HARCOURT ORDERS HON. MARTINS AMAEWHULE AND 24 OTHERS TO APPEAR. The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has granted an exparte order of subsistence service on Hon.Martins Amaewhule and 24 purported members occupying the Rivers State House of Assembly. A three man panel of judges led by Hon. Justice Oluayemisi Williams -Dawodu today agreed that Hon. Amaewhule and 24 others be served through subsistence means or WhatsApp.  This was sequel to an application by the counsel to the applicants  Elder Wilcox Abereton SAN who informed the court that it has been difficult and life threatening to serve Hon. Amaewhule and the Rivers State House of Assembly as a result of tight security details around them occasion by the political tension in Rivers State.
